We arrive at the doorstep of the therapy office for a myriad of reasons. No matter what brought you, I’m glad you’re here. As a therapist, I hope to create a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe we all have an authentic self, but too frequently the wounded parts of us restrict our capacity to connect in healthy ways with our selves and with those for whom we care deeply. Life is often painful, relationships are messy and complex, and our experiences leave their mark. Therapy can be a powerful tool for growth—healing our stories while nurturing and reconnecting with our authentic selves can change how we walk in the world.
As we reckon with ourselves and our stories, it can help to have someone alongside who isn’t actively living in the plot with us. Research shows the relationship between the client and therapist has the most influence on healing in therapy. I have witnessed deep growth and real change while partnering with clients, and it’s my hope that you can experience the shifts you are seeking in your self, your life, and your relationships.
Currently, I practice at Restore Family Counseling in Oklahoma City. I see individual adults and couples, as well as children under 12 and their families. I am fully affirming for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and all are welcome and safe. I feel qualified to collaborate in the therapy process with those who may be struggling with self-worth, identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, and other life transition difficulties.
I approach each client from a holistic perspective, and tailor our work in therapy according to your unique needs, goals, and strengths. I have received training in IFS, Sandtray therapy, and TBRI, and am also a Making Sense of Your Worth Facilitator. I love to bring creativity into the therapy process. I graduated with my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. As an LPC Candidate, I am not able to file with or provide documentation for insurance, and therapy services are private pay only. Fees are $100 per 50-minute session for individuals, and $150 per 90-minute session for couples.
